AHP Service Experience

What to Expect When You Contact Us For Service

When household systems and appliances break down, finding a reliable contactor at a reasonable price can be challenging. At Anchor Home Protection, we make it easy for you. When you have home warranty coverage with us, all you have to do is contact us and we’ll put you in touch with a licensed and insured contractor from our extensive network of qualified and reliable professionals so that you receive service efficiently.

Here’s an overview of what to expect when you contact us for help.

What happens when an item breaks down?

When one of your covered household items breaks down, call us at 866-247-2400 to speak with a customer service representative.

We’ll then verify that your claim is covered by your home warranty insurance plan. If you require repairs to an item not covered by your plan, speak to a representative about using our Home Assistance On Demand service to get a pre-screened and approved service contractor to handle your needs.

What happens after I make a claim?

Once we verify that your plan covers your claim, Anchor Home Protection will send you a confirmation email providing you with contact information for a qualified licensed contractor in your area. The contactor will contact you during normal business hours to schedule an appointment.

What happens when the contractor visits my home?

The contactor will diagnose the problem and contact Anchor Home Protection to verify that your plan covers the repair job. A low service call fee is payable directly to the contractor at the time of the appointment.

Once we confirm that your plan covers the problem, the contactor will start working to fix the breakdown. If the problem can’t be repaired, we’ll replace the equipment. If parts are not readily available and need to be ordered, the contactor will organize a convenient time to come back and complete the repairs.

What happens after the contactor fixes the item?

Once your household item has been repaired or replaced, Anchor Home Protection will contact you to ensure that you are satisfied with the service you received.
